Soft silk sarees draw on the design language of Kanchipuram weaving, with contrast borders, zari patterns and richly worked pallus, but in a lighter, softer silk. The result is a saree that drapes easily and is comfortable to wear through a long celebration, while keeping the traditional South Indian look.

The annam, or swan, is a traditional motif of South Indian weaving and is associated with grace. The peacock is a much-loved motif in South Indian textiles and stands for beauty and grace. The chakra (wheel) is a traditional motif in Kanchipuram weaving.
