Soft silk sarees draw on the design language of Kanchipuram weaving, with contrast borders, zari patterns and richly worked pallus, but in a lighter, softer silk. The result is a saree that drapes easily and is comfortable to wear through a long celebration, while keeping the traditional South Indian look.

Brocade weaving creates raised, richly patterned areas, usually on the pallu and border, that catch the light.
